About Us
Hi there! I’m a Jim Bonham also known as Farmer Jim. Welcome to our Survival 2.0 – Survival Knowledge site. I think you will love this site we will be bringing you to teach many diferent types of survival techniques.
I do the research on Survival Techniques and compile the quality information into our educational forum to allow you more time to educate yourselves. Our site is designed so you can learn at your own pace. It is also searchable to allow you to choose what you want to learn first according to your own priorities.
This site will bring you ways to create emergency shelters, how to survive in the wilderness by finding a good safe water source, what is edible in the wild (varies from area to area) and also teach you some skills on growing your own food, canning and preserving your water and food. Just to mention a few of the coming new information or classes if you will.
Most of the information we provide has been tested by myself or buy some of our members and have proven to be of very good quality. Practicing Survial Techniques will improve your success. When you learn the techniques we teach with our information provided, be sure to practice and get familiar with the execution of these techniques. Then when you are placed into a situation to need them, it will be very easy for you to survive otherwise life threatening situations.
We do offer a “Free Membership” with several areas open to the “Free Membership”, however to receive full benefits of this site you will need a “Premium Membership”
Visit our “Members Option Page” from the tab at the top of this page to choose the type of membership you would like.
All proceeds from this website will go to help feed the hungry here in America.
The information below will change from time to time to give you a sample of what we have to offer here at Survival 2.0
One thing that gets neglected when preparing for disaster is the practice exercise or simulation. Many people buy the gear, read the books and watch the youtube videos, but never practice their skills. We want to encourage you to get out and practice this stuff. If your plan is to shelter in place, then take a weekend at home and live with no utilities. This will help you identify gaps. If your plan is to bug out, then do some practice runs. Travel your routes out of the city. Run through everything and you will start to see what really works. You will also gain valuable confidence in your skills.
